Agreement for Auto Maintenance and Repair Services
These Terms & Services govern your use of guneydoguauto.com and the maintenance, diagnostic, repair, inspection, and parts-supply services offered by Guneydogu Auto. By browsing this website, submitting a quote form, adding parts to the client-side cart, or requesting workshop work, you agree to this document. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or request service.
Guneydogu Auto is an independent automotive workshop. We service engines, brakes, tires, batteries, steering, electrical systems, and scheduled maintenance. These terms explain how estimates work, how authorization is given, what warranties apply, and how website content, carts, and email updates are handled. They are written for vehicle owners, fleet coordinators, and anyone ordering parts through the shop pages.
1. Nature of the website
This website is a static, informational, and request-collection platform. Product prices shown in the shop are indicative workshop-counter prices. The cart stored in your browser is a convenience tool only. Submitting an order does not complete a paid transaction on this site. After checkout you will see a confirmation message and a representative will contact you to confirm vehicle fitment, availability, and whether the part should be installed in the bay or collected after preparation.
Images, service descriptions, and case-style project photos illustrate typical workshop work. Actual vehicles, parts, and repair times vary. Nothing on the site is a guarantee that a specific noise, warning light, or performance complaint will be resolved by a named service until a technician inspects the vehicle.
2. Estimates, inspections, and authorization
A quote submitted through our forms is a request, not a binding price. Many maintenance and repair jobs cannot be priced accurately until the vehicle is on a lift, codes are read, fluid samples are checked, or components are measured. We may recommend a diagnostic inspection before quoting major engine, transmission, or electrical work.
No repair is started until you authorize it. Authorization may be given by returning a message, approving a written estimate, or confirming a revised estimate if additional wear is found after disassembly. If we discover related damage—for example scored rotors after pad replacement, or a leaking housing after a battery tray inspection—we will pause and request approval before expanding the job.
Diagnostic time is billable workshop time even if you later decline the repair. That time includes scan-tool use, testing, road evaluation, and a written summary of findings. We will not invent work to fill a bay. We will also not hide a safety defect to keep an estimate low.
3. Vehicle condition and customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate year, make, model, engine, mileage, and a description of symptoms. Aftermarket alarms, tracking devices, lift kits, chip tunes, and previous incomplete repairs can change both diagnosis and parts. Please disclose them. Personal items should be removed from the cabin and trunk before drop-off. Guneydogu Auto is not responsible for belongings left in the vehicle.
You must have the legal right to authorize work on the vehicle. If the vehicle is jointly owned, leased, or part of a fleet, the person submitting the form confirms they may approve maintenance and repair. Keys, spare keys, and any immobilizer devices needed to operate the vehicle should be provided for road testing.
If a vehicle is unsafe to drive, you should arrange appropriate transport rather than operating it to the workshop. We may refuse to road-test a vehicle with critical brake, steering, or structural faults until those systems are restored.
4. Parts, fluids, and substitutions
We specify parts that match the vehicle’s duty: commuting, towing, short-trip city use, or high-heat operation. Where a manufacturer-style component is required for electronics, sensors, or safety systems, we will say so. Where a quality aftermarket equivalent meets specification, we may offer it as an option.
Shop products such as air filters, wheels, starters, headlights, brake pads, and batteries are shown for planning. Fitment depends on the exact vehicle. A representative will confirm compatibility after you place an order request. If a part is incorrect, we will not install it. If you insist on a customer-supplied part, warranty on that component may be limited or declined, and we may still charge labor if the part fails during installation.
Fluids—engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and gear oil—must match specification. Mixing incompatible coolants or using the wrong viscosity can damage components. We will not knowingly install fluids that conflict with the vehicle’s requirements even if requested as a cost-saving measure.
5. Workmanship, testing, and completion
Completed work is tested in a manner appropriate to the job: a brake road check, a steering sweep, a charging-system load test, or a scan to confirm monitors. Some repairs require a remaining learning cycle after the vehicle leaves the workshop. We will tell you if a recheck is recommended after a set number of miles or heat cycles.
Old parts that are replaced remain available for a short review window unless they are hazardous waste, cores that must be returned, or items that are drained and crushed under environmental rules. Please ask if you want to see a replaced component before it is processed.
We may photograph measurements, worn parts, and completed assemblies as part of the job record. Those images support the estimate and the warranty file. They are workshop records, not marketing use, unless you later agree to a testimonial.
6. Warranties and limitations
Workmanship on authorized repairs is covered for a stated period discussed at handover, provided the vehicle is used as intended and related systems are not neglected. Parts carry the supplier’s warranty plus our installation warranty where we fitted the part. Warranties do not cover racing, off-route abuse, continued driving after a warning light or overheating event, collision, or unrelated failures.
A brake job does not warranty a later caliper seizure that had not presented at inspection. An oil service does not warranty an engine with pre-existing knock or sludge. We will document pre-existing conditions when we see them so the boundary of coverage is clear.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Guneydogu Auto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses such as missed appointments, rental inconvenience, or cargo delay, except where a safety defect was caused by our proven failure to follow the authorized repair. Our liability for a covered repair is limited to re-performing the work or refunding the labor and parts associated with the defective portion of that job.
7. Scheduling, delays, and storage
Parts back-orders, hidden corrosion, seized fasteners, and additional faults discovered in progress can change completion time. We will communicate delays. If a vehicle remains in the yard after notice of completion, storage terms may apply after a reasonable pickup window. Abandoned-vehicle procedures may be used if a vehicle is left without contact for an extended period as allowed by applicable workshop and property rules.
We may decline or postpone work when the bay cannot complete it safely—for example, missing essential equipment, a vehicle that exceeds lift capacity, or a modification that prevents secure support.
8. Website accounts, cart, and communications
The cart is stored only in your browser. Clearing site data empties it. Checkout forms collect the details needed to contact you about the parts request. You must provide a working email and phone so a representative can reach you. False details may result in cancellation of the request.
Email subscribe and unsubscribe pages control workshop news, seasonal maintenance reminders, and parts offers. Transactional messages about a quote or order you already submitted may still be sent as needed to complete that request.
You may not scrape, copy, or reuse site content, logos, or photographs for competing commercial sites without permission. You may not submit malware, automated spam, or abusive messages through any form.
9. Intellectual property and brand
The Guneydogu Auto name, logo, layout, original text, and original graphics are protected as our brand presentation. Vehicle manufacturers’ names that appear in ordinary service language are used only to describe repair categories and do not imply a franchise or official dealer relationship unless expressly stated.
10. Third-party links and tools
Social sharing buttons open third-party services. Video or map tools, if shown, are provided by others. Their terms apply when you leave guneydoguauto.com. We are not responsible for those platforms.
11. Changes to services and to these terms
Workshop processes, hours, and parts offerings can change. We may update these Terms & Services by posting a new version on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for new requests. Existing authorized jobs remain governed by the estimate you approved unless both parties agree otherwise.
12. Governing use and contact about terms
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Questions about a specific job belong on the Contact Us form with the vehicle details and the estimate reference if you have one. Questions about these terms can be sent through the same form with the subject “Terms & Services.”
Thank you for trusting Guneydogu Auto with maintenance and repair. Our goal is straightforward work: inspect, explain, authorize, repair, and verify—so the vehicle you collect is safer and more reliable than the vehicle you left.
